TASTE THE TRADITION OF MITHILA

ABOUT US
Mithila Bhoj Private Limited is a traditional, cultural, and regional food brand. Our main aim is to reconnect people with the real taste of homemade traditional food. The journey of Mithila Bhoj started from the Mithila region of Bihar, where food is not only about filling the stomach. It is also about our culture, traditions, memories, emotions, and the feeling of home. At Mithila Bhoj, we make traditional products like Adauri, Sukhauti,Bidiya and Sattu etc in the same way our grandmothers, mothers, and aunts have been making them for generations. Our products are not made with factory made recipes. They are prepared by women with their own hands using traditional tools like the sillbatta (stone grinder), stone janta chakki (manual millstone), and okhali (mortar and pestle). This helps us keep the original taste, natural quality, and purity of our food exactly the way it has always been. Our idea is very simple. Today, millions of people live far away from their villages, towns, and families. Many of them have no choice but to eat fast food or outside food every day, which can also affect their health. They often miss the healthy homemade food and the taste they enjoyed during their childhood. Mithila Bhoj is trying to bring back that same feeling of home, that same traditional taste, and that same healthy food once again. At the same time, Mithila Bhoj works together with unemployed and less educated women from rural areas. This gives them employment opportunities and helps them become financially independent. It also helps us protect and preserve our traditional, cultural, and regional food heritage. Every product of Mithila Bhoj carries a small part of the culture, traditions, and lifestyle of Mithila, so that the next generation can know, understand, and value it. Our goal is to bring the real taste of our grandmothers' homemade food and the true story of our rich traditions to today's generation. We want people to know them, understand them, and keep these traditions alive for the future.
